There was a time, not so long ago my friends, that I was not exactly, um, enthused about this day.

Roses took over my work’s office.  None for meeeee.

Romannic movies all over the televisions.  Not for meeeeee.

Candlelit dinners paired with soulful gazing and sweet nothings?  Nada. Zip.  NO date for meeeeee.

Music? Don’t even.

Chocolate?  Ok, well yes,  I think I’ll have all of it.

But NOW?????

Rainbows and unicorns.  Teddy bears with balloons glued on their paws.   All day.  Oh, and stuff like this:

In all honesty, (because let’s face it, most of the time I am flat-out lying to you) I enjoy this day a lot more because of my toddlers.  We had heart-shaped chocolate chip pancakes.  I’m wearing my heart socks.  Tonight is bacon and blue cheese heart-shaped pizzas.  I’m not much for creativity but at least I’m consistent.  And bacon?  Nothing says “I love you” more than bacon.

So, I’m posting this little gem from the You Tubes (have you ever seen the You Tubes?  It is awesome!) because it pretty much sizes up how my hubs and I operate.
